Purple is the color code for a B string for the strings I play. This flower has lots of roots!
 
guitARTwork is my fun way of recycling guitar strings. I use the strings to make music, then I use them to make artwork. On this piece, the retired strings were bent and shaped into a picture, placed on cedar wood, and set in tabletop epoxy. I also stained the wood white to make the strings pop a little.
