How to Change Your Strings

Being able to change your own guitar strings is great. It means that instead of paying the local music store to do it, you only need to spend $5-$10 on strings. This lesson is based on a steel-string acoustic guitar. So if you have a nylon string guitar, you'll need to find another guide. For electric players, you should be able to follow this video unless you have a "floyd rose" style guitar (that is, a guitar that locks at the headstock and has little fine tuning knobs on the body).

Difficulty: Easy...ish

Skills: Basic hand tools
